Picks of the Week: Feb 3, 2020

This is probably the most wearable out of the three items listed. It reminds me of the Haider Ackermann bleached shirts/kimonos, but obviously without the bleached effects. The shirt appears to be a linen/cotton blend, making it a good option for still looking clean during the warmer months. I think this could be styled casually as shown in the pictures here, or more smart perhaps under a blazer or velvet bomber.

The Dior oblique shirt, but without the Dior logo (or price). If I were to wear this, I probably would not wear it on its own, instead just peeking out under a jacket. It is indeed very flashy (and perhaps very douchey), and I’m not sure if one could wear this if they were not at (1) a night club or (2) fashion week.

Probably less than a year ago, I’d have said that I would never be caught dead in something so oversized. I’m still not sure I would wear anything like this, but I don’t hate it as much as I did then. This gives me quite a “lazy luxury” vibe; I could see it half-tucked (as well as you could with how long it is) into some silky trousers with velvet slippers, and a smoking jacket on top with the sleeves pushed up. Since it’s from ASOS and therefore not super expensive ($28.00), I suppose I could try it and experiment some.
